Job Description
We are a manufacturer of synthetic rubbers (EPDM) for use in transportation vehicles, white goods, various industrial products, construction materials and as motor-oil additives. We are one of the global market leaders in EPDM rubber with a market share of 20%. We are the #2 global producer of TPVs (EPDM-based, fully vulcanized, thermoplastic elastomers) which are used in a wide variety of applications including automotive, consumer, electrical, food, building, medical and industrial applications. We are seeking an Account Manager comfortable with sales development, account management, prospecting, contracting, facilitating the OTC process and after-sales management.
Responsibilities:
Execute sales plan (budgeted volumes/commercial conditions) for existing accounts including distribution in geographic area of responsibility
Manage good customer relationship well balanced with our interests
Develop Key account plans or Marketing plans
Coordinating potential accounts across sales areas with other Account Managers within organization or business units
Initiate & manage new sales development programs at existing accounts
Initiate and manage new sales development programs based upon existing products/technologies at new prospects
Plan potential sales volume growth by accurate funnel management
Develop solid understanding of value chain (end customer, Tier 1, Tier 2, molder) to support Sales Development programs and share information with relevant colleagues
Guide the Application Development/Tech Service and Customer Service activities at customers and new prospects for sales development programs
Identify new market opportunities outside existing product market combinations and deliver those to the Business Development Managers for further market assessment
Support Business Development Managers in their market assessment or market development activities
Duties:
Quotation handling
Ensure proper Supply Agreements are in place for all businesses
Customer Master data gathering
Sales (volume) forecasting
Enable the Perfect Order process
Eliminate bottlenecks at customer for OTC-process
Credit management
Complaint handling
Customer satisfaction measurement
Manage and assess the agents and distributors operating in designated area
Steer after sales and customer service activities
Requirements:
