DescriptionWe are a manufacturer of synthetic rubbers (EPDM) for use in transportation vehicles, white goods, various industrial products, construction materials and as motor-oil additives. We are one of the global market leaders in EPDM rubber with a market share of 20%. We are the #2 global producer of TPVs (EPDM-based, fully vulcanized, thermoplastic elastomers) which are used in a wide variety of applications including automotive, consumer, electrical, food, building, medical and industrial applications. We are seeking a Regional Marketing Manager to bring increased strategic focus to our organization. Responsibilities: Assist the Global Marketing Manager to formulate global marketing strategy, translate to regional marketing strategy then implement in region and monitor progress Communicate progress and evaluate the practical effect of strategy and propose improvements both regionally and globally Define product and services offered in line with the strategy then monitor that we stick to our strategic intent and monitor practical effect Assist the Regional Sales Director in defining price setting based on global directives Work closely with Research & Development to monitor progress of funnel programs versus strategic direction and intent, chance of success which includes global learning exchange with the other regions Define, propose and plan new Product Development Programs for review, monitor and update with commercial and marketing progress of those funnels and interact with regional counterparts to find global learning opportunities Lead New Business Development projects (defining opportunities, scanning them, invoking multifunctional teams to follow-up, driving progress both within as well as external customers and value chains, cooperate with regional counterparts to globalize the efforts) Develop relevant value chains (OEMs and Tiers) in the region, working together with regional counterparts for global players in the value chain Assist the Global Marketing Manager to expand our Business and Market Intelligence with regional information on products, prices, customers, competitors and value chains Assist the Global Marketing Manager to implement our strategy which consists of proposing the channels (magazines, websites, trade shows, conferences, ) and develop them as well as bringing the means (centrally developed, like adverts, campaigns, articles, press releases, documentation) to the market, often with the help of the sales function then propose regional activities and execute them Requirements: BS Degree in Marketing
